Florida is No. 1 in college football, No. 1 in college hoops, and now is No. 1 in college mascots with Albert. He's followed closely by UGA at Georgia and Bevo from Texas. The are plenty other surprises in the rest of the top 10.

McDonalds calls for Bevo Burger week: "Bevo (BEE'-voh) 13 died yesterday on the private ranch where he lived with his successor, Bevo 14. The passing was announced today by the Silver Spurs spirit club. Bevo 13 was 22 years old."

Bevo XIII, the 22 year old mascot for the Texas Longhorns died Monday. He lived just long enough to see his team beat arch rival Oklahoma 28-10. His replacement has already been filed.
